Rock wit U (Awww Baby)
"Rock wit U (Awww Baby)" is a single released by American R&B singer Ashanti in 2003 from her second studio album, ''Chapter II''. The single went straight to the number two position on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and became her first international hit from her second album, reaching number seven in the UK and number nineteen in Australia. The song was certified Gold by the RIAA on June 16, 2010.
The song had Top 40 entries in the Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland and New Zealand. However, the single became Ashanti's most successful song in Japan peaking at number 2 on Tokio's Hot 100 and number 3 on the Year End Chart.
==Music video==
The song's music video (directed by Paul Hunter), was released in May 2003, shows Ashanti on the beach by herself, then seconds later her lover spends time with her. They spend the whole day together, from the beach to a private hut and then a jeep ride. There is one moment when Ashanti is riding an elephant.
The music video was nominated at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards for Best R&B Video.
